Peach Tree Street - 2007

This is the oldest recording of Peach Tree Street that I have. Although it is a recording of me as I perform the piece, a friend of mine (Paul Murray) actually recorded and produced it in my church's project studio (First Baptist Church, Merritt Island).

We used a single, large diaphragm condenser microphone, my father's acoustic Garrison guitar, and a sound proofed room with a wooden floor. After recording, Paul added reverb and a very light delay effect to the initial recording.

Although this recording was in no way related to my Recording Techniques class, I have included it to show the musical progression of Peach Tree Street. I hope that it allows you to see how long the recording process, as well as the song writing process, can take.
